In 1992, Brihan Consultants embarked upon its journey from a modest office in Chembur, Mumbai—a singular vision with a solitary staff member. Our founding purpose remains our guiding light: creating transformative career opportunities whilst connecting organisations with exceptional talent.


The mid-1990s witnessed our strategic pivot towards the burgeoning information technology sector. As pioneering enterprises such as Aptech, NIIT, and Silverline Technologies experienced unprecedented expansion, we responded by establishing a dedicated technology recruitment practice. The approaching millennium challenge (Y2K) catalysed extraordinary demand, and our specialised IT recruitment team positioned Brihan as an instrumental talent partner during this transformative technological epoch.


As the century drew to a close, we discerned an emerging pattern—international markets increasingly sought specialised Indian expertise. Our inaugural global placement with Kuwait Insurance Company marked the commencement of our cross-border talent consultancy, a testament to our capacity to identify emerging trends and deliver sophisticated talent solutions that transcended geographical boundaries.


The year 2005 heralded our strategic concentration on executive search across international markets, developing our aptitude for identifying and securing transformational leadership talent globally.
